Explaining complex scientific concepts and using examples from microscopic species can bog down writing, but Sun writes in a way that encourages readers to dive deeper rather than skip ahead. Given the subject matter, the author does an excellent job of crafting a story that a wide range of age groups could consume while imparting new information to all readers.
