Harmless Women

DEBUT This debut novel follows three women of different generations and social classes: Avalon, a career criminal with a penchant for identity theft; Primrose, a successful businesswoman trapped in an unsuccessful marriage; and Bianca, a grieving widow searching for her missing daughter. Avalon has targeted Primrose as her next big score, but her meticulous plans to clean out Prim’s accounts and get away fast fall apart when she finds Prim’s husband dead at her home. With Avalon and Prim both suspected of his murder, they go on the run. Life on the lam causes the women to grow closer, and they begin to reexamine their identities and the pasts that shaped them. Meanwhile, Bianca is on a similar path of unwanted self-discovery, one that forces her to examine her own role in her daughter’s disappearance. Avalon and Prim’s journey sets them on a collision course with Bianca, who is determined to bring justice to the kind of “bad women” that she blames for negatively influencing her daughter.
