British blogger Alexander comes off as a cocky rich kid with a big mouth, because he is. When his post accusing racecar driver Sage of sleeping her way into F1 causes the threat of a defamation lawsuit, Alexander avoids legal action by agreeing to serve penance as Sage’s intern. Sage has worked hard to get to where she is and cannot stand it when people are quick to judge her current standing. She has so much going on with her race schedule and brother’s budding romance with her best friend, she doesn’t need to deal with Alexander too—no matter how cute his grin and silly comebacks are. For Sage, love has always come with so many complications, and it would be better not to get close to anyone. But if Alexander can prove himself to Sage, the two might just find love together.
VERDICT Readers will appreciate the rom-com levels of banter and conflict that lead to an HEA in Juniper’s enemies-to-lovers F1 romance, third in the “Frontrunners” series (after Coming in Hot).
